The single most important habit for any long-term gambler is setting a clear budget before each session. Set a win target as well as a loss limit. If you are up 50% from your starting session amount, consider stopping and banking the profit. Similarly, if you have lost 50% of your session budget, walk away and return another day. Emotional decisions after big wins or losses are the fastest route to poor outcomes.
